Relationship therapy in London and Online

Relationships can provide some of the most meaningful elements of our lives, but they can also be a source of confusion, disconnection and distress. Whether you're struggling with communication, trust, conflict, or uncertainty about the future, therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand what is happening and explore possibilities for change.

Whether you're struggling with desire, arousal, performance, pain, or connection within a relationship, you don't have to navigate it alone or in silence.

My approach to relationship therapy

A relationship is built together, and partners play a role in what unfolds between them, often in ways they may not be fully aware of.
Feelings, expectations and what you value and prioritise in a relationship can change over time. As an experienced therapist my approach is to work with you to understand the relationship itself and think together about possibilities for change.

What to expect from your session

Relationship therapy acknowledges that relationships are shaped by many influences, including personal histories, family experiences, life transitions, work pressures, physical and emotional wellbeing, and the wider contexts in which you live.

By exploring these factors together, we can begin to build a shared understanding of the challenges you may be facing.
The work is collaborative, thoughtful, serious but also hopeful
I  believe that relationships can develop, adapt, and be re-negotiated over time. Therapy offers an opportunity to strengthen understanding, deepen connection, and discover new ways of relating to one another. Sometimes, this process may also involve recognising that the relationship has reached its conclusion. In these situations, therapy can help create the space for difficult conversations and support a more respectful and compassionate ending.

I understand that cost is an important factor when considering therapy, so I've outlined my fees clearly

Starting Therapy FAQ

How do I know if relationship therapy is right for us?

Relationship therapy can be helpful if you are finding it difficult to make sense of recurring patterns, communication difficulties, emotional distance, or uncertainty about the future of your relationship. You do not need to be in crisis to seek support. People can come to therapy because they want to understand their relationship and strengthen an existing connection.

What if if one, or both of us, are not sure whether our relationship has a future?

Uncertainty about the future of a relationship is a common reason for seeking therapy. Sometimes therapy helps couples rediscover connection and create a shared understanding of how they would like their relationship to develop. At other times, the work may involve recognising that the relationship has reached its conclusion.Therapy can help in the discernment process, offering a  space for both partners to understand what staying together, or a respectful ending could look like.

How long does relationship therapy last?

Some people seek support around a specific issue and find that a relatively brief period of therapy is sufficient. Others choose to engage in longer-term work to explore more deeply rooted relationship patterns and experiences. We can discuss your hopes and expectations during our initial consultation and review these as the work develops.
